Our Brief History & Origin


The history of making meatballs in Malaysia dates back to the post era of 2nd World War. There was a person names Khong Zing, originated from the district of Canton, China, left is homeland to Peninsular Malay for a better life. He commenced his venture by setting up his business in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, more precisely in Jalan Silang.
            For some urgent personal matter, he went home whereof his business had to taken care for by Chan Fatt Kam. As the meatballs are of exceptional taste and quality, Chan does not face much difficulty to expand and further enhance the business. At the moment the shop was situated in such a way that it was annexed to two another shop at the road junction, the regular customers have named it as,          "San Jian Chuang", translated as " Three Adjacent Shops". Now the name " San Jian Chuang" is well known and is synonymous to meatballs.
                                                  
                     Thereafter Chan passed the art of making meatballs to one Yap See Chiew, the next generation. Yap has set up quite numbers of establishments in Klang Valley, as Restaurant3JC , where customers can enjoy original San Jian Chuang meatballs, with many other variety of food. Our outlets are in, Sunway Pyramid, 1Utama, Centro Klang, Plaza Low Yat, Equine Park Jusco, Klang Prade.
